Welcome to the 2020 Statewide Action Summit! We’re so excited you’re joining us this year as we go virtual. This Summit will be your opportunity to meet with LGBTQ and ally Oregonians from around the state, including keynote addresses by the incredible Ruby Corado of Casa Ruby in D.C. and Rev. Louis Mitchell of Transfaith, attend community-led workshops, and discover what motivates you as you advance your leadership in your community.

This site does it all! Here, you can sign up, learn about all the diverse workshops, workshop leaders, and community connections. Create your ideal workshop schedule and each listing will be updated with a Zoom link so you can easily join the discussion when your workshop starts.

Topic; Remaining Vigilant, Making Certain that the most Marginalized Among us are Protected

Danielle Dufoe BS, MS Ed., is a native of New Jersey and presently resides in Cape May with her cat whose name is Elle. Ever the academic, Ms. Dufoe is also currently pursuing a M. Div at Howard University’s School of Divinity.

She is the Founder and CEO of the Black TransLiberation Movement, an organization that is dedicated to ensuring that federal policy accounts for Black Transgender and Gender Non Conforming people, especially in the realms of Housing and Healthcare. NBTM is the largest organization of its kind and its mission is to communicate how Federal policy can adversely impact the daily lives of black trans and gnc people, and in some cases, how many policies can even result in the increased violence they face.
